About the Position

Job Title

MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Location

Mayfield Heights, OH

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Saturday & Sunday | 2x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scanning on a stable inpatient population during overnight weekend shifts
• Work alongside a tech assistant to support efficient and safe imaging operations
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and imaging best practices
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in MRI technology
• Active, permanent Ohio MRI technologist license in hand at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/2023 and forward)
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
• No open background check cases; facility does not accept any license hits
• One supervisory reference (manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director) in the MRI specialty required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel MRI technologist experience
• Familiarity with inpatient imaging environments and associated patient populations
