This role focuses on promoting health, wellness, and injury prevention through structured water-based exercise programs.**Key Responsibilities*** Plan and lead water aerobics classes (shallow and/or deep water)* Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure participant safety* Adapt routines for different fitness levels, injuries, or limitations* Monitor class participants and respond to emergencies as needed* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment* Enforce facility rules and safety protocols* Track attendance and provide basic fitness guidance* Create a positive, motivating, and inclusive class atmosphere**Skills*** Strong communication and group leadership skills* High energy and motivational teaching style* Ability to modify exercises for seniors, rehab clients, or beginners* Time management and class organization**Work Environment*** Indoor or outdoor pools (community centers, gyms, hotels)* Warm, humid pool deck conditions* Physically active role requiring time in water## Qualifications**Qualifications*** Current **Water Aerobics or Aquatic Fitness Certification** (e.g., American Council on Exercise (ACE), Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA))* CPR/AED and First Aid certification (required)* Strong swimming ability and comfort in deep water* Previous group fitness instruction experience preferred* Knowledge of anatomy, fitness principles, and injury prevention #J-18808-Ljbffr Priority Dispatch Corp.
