Job Description & Requirements Specialty: House Supervisor Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Living Center North RN House Supervisor - FT Geneva NY 14456 22-26 Weeks Short Description: 3pm-11:30pm EOW and Holidays required - Full Time BLS Required (through AHA or RQI only) Required: NYS RN Licensure Minimum of one (1) year LTC experience and previous supervisory experience. *22-26-week contract through holidays* Full-Time Evenings (3pm-11:30pm), every other weekend and Holidays required Will need to float across units and between Living Center North/South locations Complete Description: Under the direction of the Director of Nursing - LTC and in accordance with established policies and procedures, oversees the operation of the nursing units and personally or through subordinates, provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to the various nursing units. Plans, directs, coordinates and evaluates the Nursing Department's activities, consistent with the philosophy of nursing in compliance with established policies, procedures, standards and regulations. Assures quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shifts. Communicates with Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager regarding identified and potential unit problems and collaborates with Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Managers to resolve problems. Contacts Director of Nursing on off hours for only those critical issues requiring resolution and leaves appropriate communication at work for all other items. Makes sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator - LTC (off-shift/weekends) within identified scope of responsibility Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move BLS Certification Required Questions: Question 1 Have you worked at any of the FLH Locations in the last two years?
