Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, ensuring a friendly and efficient check-in process
• Assist with scheduling appointments and answer phones to support clinic operations
• Take vital signs and document patient information accurately
• Draw blood and perform phlebotomy procedures in accordance with clinical protocols
• Administer vaccines and assist with immunizations as needed
• Provide clinical support including preparation of patients and ensuring a clean and organized environment
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care

Required Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience (including externship)
• Strong computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members
• Attention to detail in clinical documentation and procedures
• Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required

Additional Skills & Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
• Occupational health experience is highly desirable
• Must be comfortable working with patients ages 6 and older
• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
• Previous experience in a clinical primary care setting is a plus
