We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiology in Petoskey, Michigan.

Shift: 24-hour call coverage, 6:00 AM - 6:00 AM
Position Details:

Sunday through Saturday coverage
Inpatient and hospital call responsibilities
No clinic responsibilities
24-hour call coverage
Inpatient team supported by three (3) APPs
Comprehensive cardiac care coverage

Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities:

Inpatient cardiology coverage
Hospital call coverage
Interpretation of diagnostic cardiac studies
Comprehensive cardiovascular patient management

Required Procedures:

Echocardiography
Treadmill stress tests
Chemical stress tests
Interpretation of cardiac diagnostic studies

EMR System: Cerner
Support Staff:

Three (3) Inpatient APPs

On-Call/Weekends:

24-hour call coverage, 6:00 AM - 6:00 AM
Weekend coverage required

Requirements:

- Board Certified in Cardiology - Required
- Active MI License - Required
- Availability for requested coverage dates provided at time of submission - Required
- Self-Query NPDB pulled within the current month - Required
