Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Maryland

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage (6 weekend shifts per contract); 4:1 patient ratio; 20 hours of orientation provided; Holiday and weekend shifts required

• Comprehensive orientation and annual competency modules through Relias/Net Learning portal
• 1-year travel assignment with opportunity for extension after 90-day separation period

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience in an ED setting required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (pending certification acceptable)
• Epic charting system experience required
• COVID-19 vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• 2-Step PPD required
• Experience with diverse patient populations from neonates through geriatrics
• Proficiency in trauma care, stroke management, STEMI protocols, ventilator management, and critical procedures
