Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring an active NY RN license and 2 years of ICU experience. Requirements Active NY RN license required in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Charge nurse experience highly preferred Community hospital experience preferred Prior travel nursing experience required Epic charting system experience required Clinical skills required include IV therapy, arterial line management, central line and PICC line care, blood product administration, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and 12-lead EKG/ECG required Experience with continuous IV sedation, IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade, and IV insulin protocols required Proficiency in infection prevention and isolation precautions/PPE required Responsibilities Work in a Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Unit, including burn and thermoregulation cases Patient ratio of 2-3 patients per nurse Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00 Every other weekend required Floating required Epic EMR experience required Provide critical care nursing services in a fast-paced ICU setting Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility for consideration Candidates who previously worked for this health system must have separated at least 6 months prior, system wide First-time travelers may be considered No more than 10 days of requested RTO permitted for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
