Senior Engineering Manager, Platform

Salary: $170,900 - 227,900 per year Requirements:

• We need 6+ years of experience designing and delivering high availability and disaster recovery solutions across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

• We prefer an outcome-focused mindset that uses metrics and data, such as code churn, commit size, and test coverage, to guide improvement.
• We require strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent relationship-building, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• We would especially like experience with automation and scripting using GitHub Actions, Python, bash, or PowerShell.
• We would also value experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and cloud services across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare is preferred.

• We will rely on you to provide technical direction and leadership for a team building and supporting APIs and backend services.
• You will apply sound architecture principles and implement secure, scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant engineering practices.
• You may need to step in directly to clear obstacles, support delivery, and help break down work.
• You will manage prioritization and maintain the team backlog.
• You will partner with product management, software engineering, platform teams, and other stakeholders to design and validate technology solutions.
• You will help drive adoption of the solutions our team delivers and support broader organizational initiatives.
• You will mentor, coach, train, and develop team members in both their careers and personal growth.
• You will champion quality and security by guiding the team toward technically sound, compliant solutions.
• You will lead the team toward ambitious goals, provide feedback regularly, and foster continuous improvement.
