Lead Generation - Email & SMS Manager

Goldco is a leading precious metals company specializing in helping Americans protect their retirement savings with gold and silver. Known for its top-rated customer service, Goldco offers both direct purchases of physical metals and Gold IRAs. We are seeking a Lead Generation — Email & SMS Manager to own direct-response customer acquisition across email, SMS, third-party media providers, and data partners. This role is focused on generating qualified leads efficiently, optimizing cost per qualified lead, and driving downstream revenue.

You will develop and execute acquisition strategies across first-party audiences, purchased lists, and partner-deployed campaigns. You'll oversee audience targeting, campaign strategy, creative direction, landing page conversion, analytics, and vendor performance.

This is a hands-on acquisition role for a marketer who understands the economics of lead generation and the importance of consent governance. Deep knowledge of TCPA and CAN-SPAM compliance, vendor diligence, and consent verification is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Acquisition

• Own email and SMS lead generation strategy across first-party, third-party, and partner-deployed campaigns.
• Source, evaluate, and manage purchased lists, media providers, and data partners.
• Develop audience targeting, segmentation, offers, campaign cadence, and testing strategies.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and spending based on qualified lead quality and revenue performance.
• Continuously test messaging, creative, offers, audiences, and campaign timing.

Compliance & Consent Governance

• Oversee day-to-day TCPA and CAN-SPAM compliance in partnership with Legal and external vendors.
• Verify and document SMS consent, including consent records, disclosure language, timestamps, and TrustedForm or equivalent documentation.
• Evaluate vendors' consent collection practices, data sourcing, and compliance safeguards before launching campaigns.
• Maintain suppression lists and opt-out processes across acquisition channels.
• Monitor regulatory developments and protect Goldco's sender reputation.

Creative & Conversion Optimization

• Brief creative teams and partners on campaign strategy, messaging, and offers.
• Partner with UX and technology teams to optimize landing pages and the lead conversion experience.
• Develop ongoing testing programs for landing page design, forms, offers, and messaging.
• Work with Legal to review claims, disclosures, and consent language.

Analytics & Vendor Management

• Measure performance against qualified lead volume, cost per qualified lead, and downstream revenue.
• Use reporting tools, including Goldco's ATLAS platform, to evaluate list sources and partner performance.
• Manage vendor relationships, pricing, performance standards, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with Lifecycle Marketing on lead handoffs, consented data, and suppression strategies.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing, direct-response acquisition, or lead generation, with accountability for lead volume, quality, and cost.
• Strong working knowledge of TCPA and CAN-SPAM requirements for acquisition marketing.
• Hands-on experience purchasing lists, working with lead vendors, and building custom audiences through data partners.
• Experience evaluating vendors, auditing consent sources, and verifying consent documentation.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to connect lead sources and campaign performance to qualified leads and revenue.
• Experience directing creative, landing page development, and conversion optimization.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in precious metals, retirement services, wealth management, insurance, Medicare, or other high-consideration financial services.
• Experience marketing to audiences age 55 and above.
• Familiarity with Marketo, Salesforce, and lead attribution.
• Experience with landing page testing and conversion rate optimization tools.
• Experience with lead-generation platforms or consent-verification tools such as TrustedForm.

The expected salary range for this role is $100K–$125K.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location.
