Educational Sign Language Interpreter

BlueCloud Staffing is seeking a qualified Educational Sign Language Interpreter to support an elementary school student in Spartanburg, South Carolina for the upcoming school year.
Position Details:
- Full-time, school-based position
- Elementary school setting
- Monday-Friday schedule aligned with the school calendar
- Competitive hourly compensation
- Weekly pay
Responsibilities:
- Provide interpreting services for a deaf or hard-of-hearing student throughout the school day
- Facilitate communication between the student, teachers, staff, and peers
- Interpret classroom instruction, school activities, and related educational services
- Collaborate with the educational team to support student success
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- 3.5 or higher EIPA score meeting South Carolina requirements
- Previous educational interpreting experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
