Position Summary Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey—before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.Work you'll doAs a Rural Health Reporting & Compliance Delivery Senior Consultant on the Operations Transformation team, you will provide dedicated reporting, grants compliance, and program documentation support across one or more Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) engagements, delivering timely, audit-ready state and federal reporting across workstreams. This role sits at the intersection of program control and federal grants administration, ensuring that deliverables, invoices, and compliance documentation meet state and federal requirements on time and to standard.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports to state agency clients, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to prescribed formats and deadlinesMaintain audit-ready documentation for all grant-funded activities, including supporting records for invoices, subrecipient monitoring, and expenditure tracking consistent with requirementsSupport subgrantee or subcontractor oversight activities, including reviewing progress reports, invoice documentation, and monitoring checklists for completeness and complianceAssist in developing and refining compliance monitoring templates, reporting guidance documents, and standard operating procedures for use across the engagementCoordinate with project leadership to ensure reporting obligations are met across concurrent workstreamsFlag compliance risks, documentation gaps, or reporting discrepancies to senior team members and support resolutionA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe TeamDeloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. USDC professionals work out of one of our specific delivery center locations, and each location presents dynamic career opportunities for professionals to focus on their work with nominal travel requirements.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration or a related field5+ years of experience with experience in federal grants management, Medicaid program reporting, or public sector compliance workDelivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia)Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project locationTravel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposesRelocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distanceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futurePreferred:Demonstrated ability to manage recurring reporting deadlines across multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing accuracy or qualityStrong written communication skills, including experience drafting compliance documentation, progress reports, or program narratives for government audiencesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (for tracking and documentation) and Word (for report preparation)Direct experience supporting CMS-funded programs, including familiarity with Medicaid reporting structuresExperience supporting Single Audit preparation or Inspector General review processesExposure to subgrantee management in a multi-tiered federal grant structure (e.g., state agency prime contractor subgrantee)PMP certification or equivalent project management credentialThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $91,100 to $163,100.
