Grind Operator

Centerless Grind Operator B&B Specialties, Inc. - Anaheim, CA 92807 Duties Set‑up and run either hand‑fed or automatic Centerless Grind machines Knowledge and ability to select grinding wheel, blade support, dress both wheels, speeds and operation sequences Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education & experience Ability to analyze and accurately interpret blueprints, customer drawings and industry specifications required Working knowledge of SPC and proficiency in the use of various types of inspection equipment (micrometer, calipers, comparator, and other miscellaneous inspection equipment) in precision measurement Attention to detail with ability to think and act analytically and use mathematics to meet job requirements Ability to accurately apply shop math to job duties Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Strong interpersonal skills including listening, speaking and writing Effective team member, willing to work and communicate with all levels of the business Excellent attendance record, including punctuality Ability to work overtime as required, including weekends when needed Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Ability to stand 90% - 100% of the shift Other Requirements Due to our customers' purchase order requirements, this position requires that the applicant be a U.S. Person as defined in EAR.
