Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 9 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: 2+ years recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience, 2+ years experience working with stroke patients License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS Certification required within 48 hours if offered Must-Have: Must be willing to take Telemetry patients as needed, must be willing to obtain mRs/SIREN Certification within 48 hours if offered, COVID vaccine required Description: This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies. The role adheres to standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or those under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients. Candidates with scheduling restrictions will not be accepted. Must be willing to work the facility's schedule.
