Warehouse Coordinator

Warehouse TechnicianJob Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstall Support & Equipment StagingStage equipment and materials for daily installation jobs.Serve as a primary warehouse contact for installation technicians.Label and document equipment and serial numbers for each project.Coordinate with warehouse leadership to source non-stock equipment and materials.Maintain and update daily job tracking systems.Inventory & Warehouse OperationsOrganize, stock, and rotate equipment and materials.Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock needs.Receive deliveries and place inventory in designated warehouse locations.Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.Pick, secure, and stage equipment for field teams.Transfers & Logistics CoordinationRespond quickly to urgent equipment and material requests.Coordinate deliveries between the warehouse, vendors, and job sites.Ensure timely and accurate transfer of parts and equipment.Warehouse Cleanliness & SafetyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard environment.Assist with scrap metal recycling and disposal.Keep entrances, walkways, and loading areas clear, including snow and ice removal when necessary.Report facility maintenance concerns to warehouse leadership.Sheet Metal Fabrication SupportLearn and assist with basic custom sheet metal fabrication as needed.Training provided for qualified candidates.All other duties as assignedQualificationsCurrent driver's license and maintain insurability by Vredevoogd carrierAbility to pass initial and random drug screeningsAbility to pass national background checkStrong oral and reading skillsCapability to work in Michigan environmental conditionsStrong commitment to world class customer serviceStrong multi-tasking skills; phone, computer, and people skillsBuild and encourage a positive work culture and be a willing and engaged team playerHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to lift up to 100 pounds and climb in and out of box trucksAbility to be flexible and effectively handle changeAbility to utilize technology for invoicing and internal/external communicationAbility to work necessary hours to meet specific organizational requirementsCompany Expectations Vredevoogd always expects its employees to adhere to our core values: Do The Right Thing, Be Committed to Excellence, Show Others That You CarePay Range: $17.00 - $19.00 per hourHeartland Home Service is an equal opportunity employer.
