Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry (Night Shift)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 Nights (19:00 - 07:30), with weekend coverage required every other weekend, subject to change based on needs.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Telemetry, you will provide care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing care for post-surgical cardiac patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage cardiac drips and insulin drips.
• Administer blood products and manage central lines.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Provide post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using EPIC EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac telemetry nursing.
• 1 year of EPIC experience required.
• Valid South Carolina RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and arrhythmia certification.
