Junior Tax Accountant

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Accounting graduate looking to begin a career in public accounting and taxation. The selected candidate will receive hands‑on training while supporting tax preparation, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and client accounting services. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of individual and business tax returns. Organize and maintain client financial records and tax documentation. Perform bookkeeping and account reconciliations. Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting schedules. Enter and review financial data using accounting software. Support senior accountants and CPAs with tax and accounting projects. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with firm procedures. Communicate professionally with clients to obtain required information. Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Recent Graduates encouraged to apply). Internship, part‑time accounting, or bookkeeping experience is a plus but not required. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Eagerness to learn and grow within a public accounting environment. Must have reliable transportation. Preferred Skills Exposure to tax preparation or public accounting through internships.
