Shift: 2nd 2pm-10:30pm( $20.12hr)

3rd 10:00pm - 6:30am( $21.12hr)

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will play an integral role in labeling and packaging operations. Maintain a clean and safe work area while adhering to all personal protective equipment and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply labels to containers.

• Assist with labeling and kitting tasks.

• Organize and maintain cleanliness in production areas.

• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 55 lbs unassisted.

• Work comfortably in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in shipping and receiving.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting.

• Proficiency in general production, packing, and packaging.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment.

• Strong English communication skills.

• Common sense and ability to follow directions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanner, sit down forklift, reach forklift, and general assembly.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• Warehouse experience preferred.

• Forklift experience preferred.

• Mechanical aptitude helpful.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing/production facility that is non-climate-controlled, focusing on the production of paste and liquid products. Tasks involve a mix of heavy lifting and light-duty assignments. Steel-toe boots are required, and additional PPE is provided by the employer. Long sleeves are recommended, and the environment is not a clean-room.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.12 - $20.12/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
