Division of Nephrology (ZSFG) - Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor

Position Description The UCSF Department of Medicine invites applications for the ranks of Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Adjunct, Health Sciences Clinical, In Residence, or Clinical X series in the Division of Nephrology at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital (ZSFG). Applicants are encouraged to contribute to a dynamic academic Nephrology program and make an individual contribution to scholarship in research, education, administration, or health policy. The initial appointment level, as well as the proportion of time devoted to clinical versus scholarly activity, will depend upon the applicant’s qualifications, career interests, and promise. Clinical duties may include rotating on an inpatient consultation service in a safety‑net hospital; caring for outpatients in a specialty clinic; managing patients with end‑stage kidney disease requiring hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, or kidney transplant; and performing kidney biopsies. Teaching opportunities may involve medical students, residents, advanced practice clinicians, and nephrology fellows. Applicants must possess an MD degree, be board‑certified in Internal Medicine, and be board‑certified or board‑eligible in Nephrology. Please apply online at: . The minimum base salary range for this position is $110,500–$333,700. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides eligibility for additional compensation.
