Manager/Assistant Position Summary Squid Lips Manager Assistants are engaged in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. As a Manager Assistant, you are responsible for getting (and keeping) guests and staff excited about their experience every day at Squid Lips ensuring consistent Guest satisfaction! Responsibilities Promote local store marketing and innovation. Attract, develop and retain top talent to build high performing teams. Create a culture of performance accountability and recognition. Lead the team to achieve company goals and objectives. Demonstrate ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Must have the ability to handle stress and rise above. Ability to effectively communicate with others; can speak effectively to groups. Committed to making an impact. Effectively write routine reports. Protect establishment and Guests by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Requirements 2+ years supervisory or management experience, preferably from a restaurant or retail environment. Serve Safe Food and ServeSafe Alcohol Certifications a plus. Ability to train, guide and lead staff. Ability to work with a high degree of independence and discretion. Ability to work flexible hours. Good writing, verbal, math and interpersonal skills.
