Termite Technician

What do our Termite Technicians do? The primary purpose of this role is to protect customers' properties from wood‑destroying organisms. As a Termite Technician, you are the first line of defense by conducting inspections, prevention, and treatment services that provide peace of mind and comfort for our customers. Responsibilities Identify customer’s termite problems and determine remedial steps based on termite behavior. Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices. Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures following schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions. Communicate critical conditions to the customer, discuss procedures, and recommend structural modifications if necessary. Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order. Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment. Complete production forms documenting services provided. Interact with customers and explain services provided. Essential Job Functions Work in a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp, and/or dusty locations. Prepare job sites for treatment. Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders. Work 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces. Have general laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, and attic experience (plus). Work on roofs and high areas. Move frequently: sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and work in confined spaces and narrow aisles. What do you need? Clean shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers must seal the face). High school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license from the state of residence. At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Flexibility with working hours, Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed. Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us). Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure and following product label mix instructions. Base Pay Range Hourly: $20.00 – $22.00. Pay may vary by geography, skills, education, and experience. Overtime, incentives, commissions, and performance bonuses may apply. Why Choose Us?
