Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, is seeking a dedicated welder to join their dynamic team. As a welder, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of ultra-high purity systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Welder (TIG/Orbital Welding)

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Pay Range: $24-25/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday, 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm)

What's the Job?

• Perform welding tasks on components used in ultra high purity systems, including tack welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding.
• Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions to produce high-quality, precise welds.
• Utilize TIG welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding equipment to assemble tubing and fittings.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and work instructions.
• Participate in routine operations, maintain cleanliness, and support 6S responsibilities to ensure efficiency and safety.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• Ability to interpret drawings and instructions accurately.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
