Come join the team at WeCare Centers at Sycamore Care Center! WeCare Centers at Sycamore Care Center is actively seeking a committed Registered Dietitian for our community in Montoursville, PA. Our Dietitian is responsible for ensuring the optimal level of quality care is provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
• Will assist Dietary Manager in all operations of the dietary department as needed

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• At least 1 years' experience in Skilled Nursing Homes or LTC facilities
• Must be a Registered Dietitian.
• Knowledgeable with State and Federal DOH rules and regulations for Skilled Nursing Homes
• Expertise in performing Nutritional Assessments.
• Expertise in creating and modifying Nutritional Care Plans
• Familiar with MDS, EMR software for Clinical Documentation
• Excellent communication skills
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required
