LLOYD HIGH SCHOOL Assistant Principal for the 2026/2027 School Year Position Type: Administration/ Assistant Principal Location: Lloyd High School Assistant Principal Qualifications Certificate of Supervision, Principal Certificate Master's or Rank I in Supervision Alternatives to the qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable Reports To Secondary School Principal and Superintendent Supervises Staff members designated by the Board Job Goal To relieve the principal of such impediments that prevent him from fulfilling his chief responsibility of promoting the educational well-being of each student in the school. Performance Responsibilities Assist the principal in the overall administration of the school Serves as principal in the absence of the regular principal Assist in proposing schedules of classes Assigns teacher daily duties, extracurricular activities, and consultswith Assistant Principal/AD for teacher athletic duties Assist preparation of student schedules Work with department heads in coordinating curriculum to enhance student learning Supervises school inventory Cooperates in the conducting of safety inspections and safety drill practice activities Assists in maintaining discipline throughout the student body, and deals with special cases as necessary Serves with parent, faculty, and student groups as requested in advancing educational and related activities and objectives Assigns and coordinates the staff and student parking Performs such record-keeping functions as the principal may direct Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the principal from time to time assign Serve on school committees to review or revise school policy Assist in observing the class performance and duties of teachers; provide feedback Assist in the recruitment, screening, hiring, and assigning of instructional personnel Keeps informed about current trends and practices and disseminates professional information Assist in planning and implementation of effective programs of supervision and evaluation Evaluation Performance of this job will be evaluated by the school principal in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel. #J-18808-Ljbffr Erlanger-Elsmere Independent Schools
