Dieterich Bank is seeking a Customer Care Representative to join our Corporate Team in Effingham, Illinois. In this role, you will help customers by phone and email, answer questions about banking products and services, provide solutions, and build lasting relationships.

What You'll Do:

• Answer customer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist customers with deposit accounts, loans, online banking, mobile banking, and other bank services.
• Research and resolve customer questions, concerns, and account-related issues.
• Troubleshoot digital banking issues and guide customers through available solutions.
• Recommend products and services that meet customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and requests.
• Protect customer information and comply with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver a positive customer experience while supporting customer retention and relationship growth.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-pace environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
• 1+ years of experience in customer service, banking, retail, administrative, call center, or office environments preferred.

Schedule:

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Typical work hours between 7am and 5pm
• Rotating Saturday schedule from 8am to 12pm
• Little overtime may be required depending on the workload
• Some travel may be required for training and seminars, or other branches on occasion
