Registered Nurse (RN) - Float PoolDay Shift: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.The Float Pool Registered Nurse will provide professional nursing care to patients across Med/Surg, Rehab, and Geri Psych units. The position requires a commitment to supporting the organization's mission and values while ensuring the highest standard of patient care.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Render professional nursing care within assigned units and carry out provider orders.Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including care plans for each shift.Engage in feedback for practice improvement and communicate patient information effectively for safe care continuity.Complete all required training and competencies in a timely manner.Promote a positive department culture and a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.Identify and address patient care safety issues proactively.Participate in daily safety huddles and quality initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.Collaborate with colleagues across departments to draw on expertise and assist team members as needed.Educate patients using culturally competent educational materials.Serve as a preceptor for new nurses and collaborate with nursing students and instructors.Engage in the peer feedback process for annual reviews and contribute to employee engagement initiatives.Adhere to established policies regarding time management and overtime usage.Complete required training modules, including a dysrhythmia course, prior to orientation completion.Maintain current nursing licensure and relevant certifications.Job Requirements:Current registered nursing license in New Hampshire.Basic Life Support certification.Graduate from an approved nursing program.Basic Dysrhythmia knowledge is preferred, to be acquired before completing orientation.Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training is preferred, to be completed before orientation ends.Holiday coverage is required.Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable.Client Details Address 172 Kinsley St State NH Zip Code 03060
