Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical leadership within a specific manufacturing engineering discipline, applying engineering knowledge, technical skills, and an understanding of business objectives and manufacturing operations to support company goals.

This position is responsible for leading complex manufacturing engineering activities, taking ownership of technical assignments, identifying potential issues, and developing effective solutions when established procedures or precedents may not exist. The role requires strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to evaluate the impact of proposed solutions on related systems and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and take ownership of complex manufacturing engineering projects and technical assignments.
Apply engineering principles and technical expertise to manufacturing operations and processes.
Analyze manufacturing challenges, anticipate potential issues, and recommend effective solutions.
Develop and implement new methods, approaches, and technical solutions when standard procedures are not sufficient.
Evaluate the impact of engineering changes on other manufacturing systems, processes, and components.
Provide technical direction within the assigned manufacturing engineering discipline.
Collaborate with engineering peers, mentors, and cross-functional teams to review project approaches and technical decisions.
Participate in peer reviews to validate task direction, engineering rationale, and proposed solutions.
Support verification and validation activities and ensure technical solutions meet applicable requirements.
Exercise independent judgment and proactively address complex technical and manufacturing challenges.
Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, methods, and technical practices.
