ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a critical care environment. This role requires a strong background in intensive care nursing, particularly in a large facility setting.

Schedule Details

• Shift: 12-hour Night shifts
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: As needed
• Holiday Requirement: As needed, with an expectation to assist

Floating Requirement

• 2 East Intermediate Care
• 2 North Medical
• 3 West Post-surgical
• 3 North Overflow Medical Surgical and Negative Air Flow Unit

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of ICU RN experience in a large facility
• Preferred experience in ICU and Med/Surg, with knowledge of ventilators and titration drips

Qualifications

• Current KS or compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification - must be in hand

Additional Requirements

• 2 STEP TB test or Blood Draw within the last 12 months is required
• Documentation of Hepatitis B, Varicella, and MMR immunizations or titer results completed within the past 12 months
• TDAP vaccination is mandatory

Credential Submission

All credentials must be submitted by Wednesday prior to the start date.

Clocking in and out will be conducted at the facility as well as through a mobile application.
