Staff Accountant Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $31.25 to $37.50 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )
Key Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and GAAP standards
- Execute inventory and cost accounting functions, including valuation and tracking of assets
- Generate and analyze financial reports to provide actionable insights to leadership
- Support the Accounting Manager with day-to-day accounting and financial operations
- Assist in improving accounting processes and strengthening internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure financial data accuracy and consistency
Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting practices Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
