Patient Transporter

Patient Transport SupportProvides support to all multidisciplinary patient care departments by providing transport service for patients throughout the institution.Required Qualifications:Require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within ninety (90) days of hire which must be maintained thereafter.Require availability for weekends, holidays and other shifts.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.Experience in customer service/relations-related positions, preferably within the healthcare or hospitality setting.Amiable personality and a willing and cooperative attitude.Demonstrated use appropriate customer service skills and judgment when in contact with patients, the public, and other staff members.Mandatory Education: HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or CertificateEmployment Screening Requirements:As part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System's commitment to keeping people safe, all individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
