Accounts Payable SpecialistA growing organization in the Triad is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract assignment. This position will support the accounting team by ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments, and financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience working in a high-volume AP environment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices accurately and efficientlyMatch invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentationVerify invoice coding and obtain appropriate approvalsResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiriesMaintain vendor records and supporting documentationReconcile vendor statements and accounts payable balancesSupport accounting team projects and other duties as assignedQualifications2+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related experienceExperience processing high-volume invoicesStrong understanding of accounts payable processes and controlsIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with ERP or accounting software systemsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple deadlinesPay Details: $20.00 to $23.00 per hourSearch managed by: Samantha GarmanBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
