General & Operations Manager - Tree Service

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on General Office & Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day administrative and operational systems of a growing tree service company.

This is not a traditional receptionist or administrative office-manager position.

We have multiple field crews operating every day, and we need someone who understands how to coordinate people, schedules, equipment, customers, paperwork, and production.

Your job is to bring organization, accountability, and systems to the operation.

The right person will be comfortable taking ownership, identifying problems, creating processes, and making sure those processes are actually followed.

We are especially interested in candidates with experience in tree care, landscaping, construction, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, restoration, or another multi-crew field-service business.

Core responsibilities but not limited to:

· Coordinate daily schedules and multiple field crews

· Build and maintain operational systems

· Improve communication between office and field

· Track jobs from sale through completion

· Coordinate equipment and materials

· Manage customer communication and issues

· Create accountability and follow-up systems

· Assist with hiring/onboarding

· Monitor crew productivity

· Organize paperwork, job documentation and billing workflow

· Identify bottlenecks and fix them

· Develop SOPs and make sure employees follow them

· Give the owner visibility into what’s happening without the owner having to chase everyone
