Responsibilities:
- The Security Officer functions in an unarmed security post for OSF HealthCare campuses. Security officers are responsible for the safety and security within OSF HealthCare campuses by conducting unarmed patrol, monitoring alarm systems, assisting in investigations, and deterring criminal activity and misconduct.
- The job schedule is from 6am-630pm. 3-12hr shifts and 1-4hr shift with rotating weekends off
Requirements:
- High School/GED
- Current State Drivers License
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification within 90 days of hire.
- International Association for Healthcare Safety and Security Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) within 1 year of hire, National Incident Management System (NIMS) within 1 year of hire.
- LCMMC: Active FOID Card
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Plan to attend and meet face-to-face with hiring managers.
