Event Manager

Job Description Job Summary The Event Manager will lead and direct the service and facilities teams to ensure all events are executed with the highest level of customer service and guest satisfaction. General Duties and Responsibilities Supervise the load-in and/or load-out of vendors, ensure they are following all facility policies and procedures. Lead event staff including: bartenders, security, facilities and others as required. Ensure event space is set to client's specification, while adhering to facility policies and procedures. Maintain and contribute to improving relationships with preferred partners and vendors. Manage department inventories and facility supplies. Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, satisfaction of participants, and resolution of any problems that arise. Follow established procedures designed to maintain records of events, including product consumption and event labor detail. Develop professional relationships with clients to retain business and increase growth. Conduct post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved. *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in the event management, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
