Registered Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room

Summary:

Location: Children's Hospital Colorado @ Anschutz Medical Campus
Duration: 13 Weeks (06/09/26 - 09/12/26)
Shift Times: 10-Hour Days | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care in the Pediatric Operating Room.
Respond to on-call duties within 30 minutes as needed.
Adhere to the 50 Mile Radius Rule.
Potential to float or be reassigned within clinical competence and within 35 miles of the original facility.

Requirements:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Active RN license (State or Compact).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Previous Operating Room experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility.
Pediatric experience required.
Strong Spine & Neuro experience.
Ability to scrub is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Willingness to float to off shifts as needed.
Flexibility with rotating shifts.

Additional Information:

No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment.
Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed.
Work schedule and assigned hours are based on departmental needs and may change.
Off-shifts and weekend work may be required.
Possible shifts include (but are not limited to): 0900-2100, 1100-2300, 1500-0300, 1900-0700.
Position includes on-call responsibilities depending on staffing needs.
