Provides counseling to patients navigating the emotional and behavioral changes associated with weight management and bariatric treatment. The therapist helps patients work through challenges such as emotional eating, stress, self-image, motivation, family concerns, and adjustment following major lifestyle changes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual behavioral-health counseling sessions.
• Develop treatment plans based on each patient's circumstances and goals.
• Help patients recognize and address unhealthy behavioral patterns.
• Support patients experiencing anxiety, stress, body-image concerns, or adjustment difficulties.
• Track progress and maintain timely clinical notes.
• Coordinate with psychologists and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent license.
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills.
• Behavioral-health or healthcare experience preferred.
