Rare Disease - Rare Cardiac, Senior Health & Science Specialist - Kansas

Pfizer seeks a Senior Health & Science Specialist for its Rare Cardiac sales organization in Kansas. This field-based specialty sales role drives growth of rare cardiac products through compliant customer relationships, scientific engagement, and strategic account management across assigned territories.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and sales performance through in-person interactions with rare cardiac accounts
• Build and maintain compliant relationships with cardiologists, multidisciplinary care teams, and office staff
• Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging supporting appropriate product use and patient identification
• Support patient access by providing prior authorization, reimbursement support, and co-pay resource information
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and leverage digital tools to optimize territory activities and achieve business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's with 8+ years work experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years experience
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare provider experience
• Valid US driver's license with compliant driving record; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years
• Field-based role requiring residency within workable distance of assigned territory and ability to travel overnight as needed
• Preferred: 3–5 years specialty sales in Cardiology or Hospital settings
• Strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement systems
• Experience with KOL engagement, business acumen, data-driven decision making, and digital tools

Compensation: $108,600–$250,700 base annually, plus sales incentive bonus
