Responsibilities Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. Delegate and direct all discipline‑specific therapy services for assigned patients. Design functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities. Educate patients, families, students, co‑workers, and self. Perform other professional duties associated with patient care and development of discipline‑specific therapy services. Participate in discharge planning, including placement, patient and family education, and adaptive equipment.
