Inside Sales Associate

Catalent seeks an Inside Sales Associate to support its Specialty business by engaging pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers seeking micronization and inhalation solutions. The role involves qualifying leads, conducting outbound prospecting, and coordinating handoffs to the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound inquiries and conduct targeted outbound prospecting to pharmaceutical and biotechnology accounts
- Assess technical and commercial fit by connecting customer requirements to company capabilities
- Qualify leads using consistent criteria and handoff to Business Development with clear documentation
- Build and maintain pipeline through marketing campaigns, conferences, referrals, and targeted outreach
- Maintain accurate lead, account, and opportunity data in Salesforce and share market insights with partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Two or more years in life sciences, inside sales, business development, marketing, or customer-facing commercial role
- Strong consultative communication, organization, research, and CRM skills
- Ability to engage both scientific and business audiences
- Experience with CDMO services, pharmaceutical development, micronization, or inhalation technologies (preferred)
Compensation: $85,000–$105,000 base plus bonus (Chelsea, MA); $70,000–$80,000 base plus bonus (Malvern, PA)
