Medical Assistant

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant in an Otolaryngology clinic provides clinical support by assisting with patient rooming, performing basic clinical tasks, and supporting providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role requires collaboration within the team to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care. The position is a temporary to hire opportunity, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and no weekend or on-call duties. Responsibilities:

Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories. Assist providers during examinations and procedures. Perform autoclaving and high-level disinfecting of instruments and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas. Float between Otolaryngology clinics as needed within skillset, including Issaquah and Ballard locations. Document patient information accurately using EPIC electronic health records. Support efficient patient flow in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Required Skills & Certifications:

At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Adult Outpatient settings. Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) preferred; MA-R accepted if necessary. Ability to perform clinical tasks such as autoclaving and high-level disinfecting (training provided). Strong communication and teamwork skills. Open to temp-to-hire employment arrangement. Experience working in an Otolaryngology (ENT) clinical setting. Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system. Special Considerations:

No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements. Must be local candidates within a 50-mile radius due to temp-to-perm nature of the role. Willingness to float between clinic locations as needed. Scheduling:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Five 8-hour shifts per week with no weekend or holiday work.
