About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Project Management to lead and direct the Project Management team within a therapeutic group. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the successful conduct of assigned projects, with a strong focus on overall project financial performance, development and adherence to project plans, and the maintenance of effective client relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for the recruitment, training, and performance review of personnel, as well as for the strategy and acquisition of new business in cooperation with senior management. The role also involves alliance partnership responsibility, sub-TA head responsibility, and serving as the VPPM deputy within the therapeutic group. Candidates for the Executive Director, Project Management position at the company should possess a university/college degree in a life science or a related field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 12 years in the global clinical pharmaceutical industry, including 8 years in clinical project management and staff management. The role requires a high level of leadership, financial analytical, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and managing staff in a global environment, inspiring teamwork, and motivating personnel. Experience in managing global drug development programs, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to adapt to different cultural environments are essential. The Executive Director will be expected to be fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively, and to be available for domestic and international travel.
