Senior Revenue Accountant

Competitive compensation: $100,000 - $105,000 base + 20% bonus Annual equity awards with long-term wealth-building potential 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage , including family coverage 6% 401(k) match, phone allowance, and gym membership reimbursement Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, Fridays work from home Fast-growing organization expanding through acquisitions and internal growth Strong promotion-from-within culture with excellent career advancement opportunities Collaborative, team-oriented environment with exceptional office amenities and employee perks What You’ll Do Record and report monthly oil, gas, and NGL revenues for operated and non-operated assets Prepare revenue accruals and ensure accurate allocation by product, property, and owner Reconcile revenue activity to supporting documentation and investigate discrepancies Partner with operations, land, and production teams to resolve accounting and reporting issues Own the gas balancing process, including uploads, reconciliations, analysis, and accounting adjustments Prepare gas balancing schedules and support audit and compliance requirements Manage revenue distribution processes and support month-end close activities Assist with revenue account reconciliations and account true-ups Support 1099 reporting requirements, filings, and corrections Help strengthen internal controls, procedures, and reporting processes as the organization continues to scale Serve as a resource and mentor for junior accounting team members What We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of upstream oil and gas revenue accounting experience Strong understanding of operated and non-operated revenue accounting processes Hands-on experience with gas balancing and imbalance accounting Experience managing the 1099 reporting process from preparation through filing Proficiency with oil and gas accounting systems such as Enertia, Quorum, P2, or similar platforms Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment Ideal Candidate This role is ideal for a revenue accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of complex accounting processes and contributing to a growing organization.
