I opened my agency in 2016 and currently lead a team of three. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked as a teacher and later in college recruiting. Those experiences strengthened my passion for helping others and building meaningful relationships. I'm also a third-generation State Farm agent and a graduate of Eastern Michigan University. Serving the community is one of my greatest passions. I'm a Community Cabinet Ambassador, support the Community Cabinet Food Pantry, serve on the Child Advocacy Board, and am involved with both the Alma Action Committee and the Downtown Development Committee. I love giving back to the community that has supported my agency. As an Account Representative for Katie Tobias - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
- Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
- Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
- Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
- Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
- Dedicated to customer service.
- Able to anticipate customer needs.
- Able to effectively relate to customers.
