Position Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams, ensuring clear communication throughout the process
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and physicians to ensure delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Accurately enter and manage patient data within the electronic medical record system
• Stay updated on evolving ultrasound techniques and best practices to enhance patient care

Education and Experience Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
