Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults in a Labor and Delivery setting supporting both low and high-risk cases
• Utilize external fetal monitoring and recognize and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Circulate for C-section procedures as required
• Float to Perinatal unit as needed based on staffing requirements
• Work within a unit encompassing Triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum areas with 24-hour OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia coverage
• Utilize unit systems including SBAR communication, Omnicell, and eMD Allscripts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Active California RN license required at time of submission
• Epic EMR experience required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-risk Labor and Delivery patient populations
• Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems
• Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
