Jewell School District 8 Description: Substitute Bus Driver (onsite bus training is available)

Qualifications: Bus Driver

Posses or be able to obtain an Oregon CDL class B license and School Bus Certificate ?
Posses or be able to obtain a First Aid card along with a Bus Driver's Certification
Pass a DOT physical, check of driving and criminal records by ODE, random drug and alcohol testing.
Attend eight (8) hours of class annually
Flexible, dependable, even tempered and positive attitude.

Major Job Responsibilities:

Transport students safely to and from school?
Perform thourough pre-trip inspection and report any malfunctions
Gain knowledge of ODOT laws pertaining to school bus and written policy
Be punctual and communicate professionally with supervisor, staff, and students

Salary: Determined per OSEA and Jewell School District Collective Bargaining Agreement
