Certified Registered Nurse AnesthetistPosition DetailsSchedule: Full-time (Varied FTE options 0.56-1.0), Monday-Friday, 7am-4:30pm. No call, weekends or holidays.Location: On-site at MNGI Ambulatory Surgery Centers throughout the Twin Cities metro areaSalary Range: Starting range $132-142/hour. CRNAs are paid a guaranteed 9-hour day. (Where an applicant may fall on the salary range will vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to CRNA experience)BenefitsHealth Coverage: Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceRetirement: 401(K) with Company Match, Profit SharingTime Off: Generous PTO, Holiday Pay, Floating HolidayDisability Coverage: Short & Long-Term DisabilityFamily Support: Paid Leave and DisabilityKey ResponsibilitiesProvide safe, high-quality patient care for individuals receiving monitored anesthesia care in the Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs).Assess, prepare, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures requiring monitored anesthesia care.Administer anesthesia services in accordance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and established protocols.Monitor patient responses during procedures and intervene appropriately to support patient safety and positive outcomes.Collaborate with Anesthesiologists, Proceduralists, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care.Independently manage anesthesia care within the scope of CRNA practice and organizational guidelines.Support patient recovery and evaluate readiness for discharge following procedures.Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation related to anesthesia care and patient outcomes.Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical practice initiatives as assigned.Perform additional clinical and non-clinical duties and departmental responsibilities as needed.Clinical ResponsibilitiesPatient care is delivered in accordance with standards established by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology (AANA) and the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).Responsibilities include:Pre-anesthesia assessment and patient risk stratification using evidence-based practicesOrdering and reviewing laboratory and diagnostic studies, as appropriatePre-anesthetic medication managementAdministration of anesthesia and adjunct medicationsLocal infiltration and topical anesthesia techniquesSedation techniquesAirway assessment and managementInvasive and non-invasive patient monitoringMechanical ventilation and oxygen therapyFluid, electrolyte, and acid-base managementPeripheral intravenous and arterial catheter placementAcute and chronic pain managementCardiopulmonary resuscitation managementPost-anesthesia recovery and discharge managementEssential FunctionsIn order to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily and regular attendance is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or ExperienceGraduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.Certifications/LicensesCurrent Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure.Current certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.Meets MNGI Digestive Health's credentialing, privileging, and professional liability insurance requirements.Demonstrates competency in nurse anesthesia clinical practice.Preferred QualificationsNew graduates and experienced CRNAs are encouraged to apply.Experience providing anesthesia care in ambulatory surgery, endoscopy, gastroenterology, or other procedural settings is preferred but not required.Qualification RequirementsThe qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform the essential functions of this position.
