Location: Canandaigua, NY
Pay: $17.00–$18.00/hour
Schedule: Part-Time (Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays Required)
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Ryan's Wine & Spirits is a well-established, family-owned liquor store serving the Canandaigua community. We take pride in offering a friendly, welcoming shopping experience and a curated selection of wine, spirits, and more.
We're hiring a reliable, hardworking Part-Time Clerk who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment, takes pride in showing up and doing the job well, and likes helping customers find what they need.
What You'll Do
- Assist customers with purchases, recommendations, and questions
- Operate the register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Unload and organize deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked store
- Check IDs and ensure all sales comply with NYS alcohol laws
- Support teammates and pitch in wherever needed
Physical Requirements — Please Read Before Applying
This is a physically active role. You should be comfortable with:
- Standing and walking for the entire shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
- Lifting and carrying cases of alcohol up to 50+ lbs
- Moving quickly during busy periods

What We're Looking For
- 18+ years old (required by NYS law for alcohol sales)
- Dependable, with strong attendance and punctuality
- Customer-friendly with a positive, helpful attitude
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willing to learn and help out across all areas of the store
- Retail or liquor store experience is a plus, but not required
