Job TitlePay: $30.00/hourJob ResponsibilitiesAssist with the grant application processProvide financial technical assistance upon request regarding FEMA recipient and sub-recipient quarterly reportsProcess and track all reimbursement submissionsReview new project obligations by FEMA for all Recovery ProgramsReview new project obligations for the Disaster Relief FundUpdate and resolve financial system problemsExpenditure reporting, payment, and reconciliationCoordinate with local and state fiscal departments on grant reporting and requesting expendituresManage and direct the Recovery sections procurement activities, including everything from major expenditures to office suppliesResearch and resolve difficult accounting issues using sources such as the Indiana Code, Code of Federal Regulations and various governmental accounting manualsTrack and maintain costsFinancial Compliance Monitoring for Recovery programsAssist with the creation of Memorandum of Understanding agreements in conjunction with the Legal sectionAssist with internal and external auditsManage project set-up within Peoplesoft FinancialsManage requirement of eCivis use and reporting
