Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Bring your expertise as a licensed SLP-CCC to an engaging PreK3–3rd grade environment, providing impactful speech and language services to a diverse caseload of 40-50 students with mild to moderate disabilities. Enjoy collaborating with a dedicated fellow SLP, ensuring comprehensive care and support for every student from the start of the 2026-27 academic year through its end.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Active and valid Maryland Department of Health Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Proven school-based experience with young learners (PreK–3rd grade preferred)
- Skilled in managing caseloads and balancing both small group and 1:1 sessions
- Deep understanding of working with mild to moderate disability populations
- Collaborative, flexible, and proactive approach to teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech/language therapy to students receiving SL services
- Assess student needs, develop and implement therapy plans, and track progress
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful input to student support plans
- Maintain precise records and documentation of student interactions and progress
- Foster a welcoming, communicative, and inclusive setting for students and staff
- Work closely with another SLP, sharing insights and collaborating for student success
Schedule and Commitment:
- Contract position running August 24, 2026 through June 30, 2027
- 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm
