Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Dental Assistant. You will provide high-quality dental care by preparing patients for examinations and treatments, assisting the dentist chairside, sterilizing instruments, and managing essential laboratory and administrative procedures.

Job Description

• Assists in providing dental services including:
  • Preparing patients for exam/treatment
  • Sterilizing instruments, maintaining equipment, mixing amalgams, cements, composites, taking dental x-rays, maintaining records, performing assigned lab procedures.

Skills Required

• Chairside dental assisting, including patient preparation and support during dental procedures
• Dental radiography, including taking, developing, and mounting dental X-rays
• Instrument sterilization and autoclave operation, dental equipment maintenance, and mixing dental materials (amalgams, cements, and composites)
• Basic laboratory procedures, recordkeeping, and attention to detail

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School diploma or GED (required).

Must meet one of the following qualifications:

• Completion of a Dental Assistant program with at least 600 instructional hours from an approved school; OR
• Completion of a Dental Assistant program with at least 300 instructional hours from an approved school plus six (6) months of full-time Dental Assistant experience performing:
  • Taking, developing, and mounting dental radiographs
  • Assisting the dentist at chairside
  • Sterilizing dental instruments using an autoclave; OR
• One (1) year of full-time Dental Assistant experience performing the duties listed above; OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience that meets the above requirements.

Additional Requirements

• Shift Time: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

  Pay Rate

• $31 - $36 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
